Monumental Signage Design
RG Architects provided a comprehension signage study and design package for Florida Gulf Coast University’s new monumental signage.
The design of the new digital signage incorporates the University’s primary colors in a wave form metal panel cladding and places the digital displays on plank formed concrete pedestals. The signs design is meant to connect with and inform the community formed around the University.
With the help of RG Architects, Florida Gulf Coast University now has a comprehensive and effective signage system that will serve its students, faculty and visitors for years to come.
The new signage will serve several important functions such as wayfinding, bulletin for upcoming events, special notices, and branding. The signage is not only visually striking, but also practical and durable, with materials chosen for their longevity and resistance to the harsh Florida climate.
