RG Architects, P.A. is currently in the process of designing the New Mental Health Facility for Collier County Government, which will be dedicated to adult services. Children's services will continue to be provided at the existing DLC facility.

The Behavioral Health Center Facility is placing a growing emphasis on enhancing the patient experience. Despite the challenges, RG Architects has responded by enabling healthcare professionals to better adapt and meet evolving expectations. The design team is focusing on privacy, accessibility, and comfort in the patient rooms, recognizing that these factors can significantly aid in patient recovery. They understand that it's especially important for patients to feel in control of their surroundings - including privacy, room temperature, lighting, window blinds, and having essential items within reach when they are sick and feeling vulnerable.

In this Behavioral Health Center, RG Architects team is incorporating biophilic features, warm colors, and appropriate flooring to benefit not only patients, but also staff, care providers, and visitors.
